Inropa™ Window Painter - robotic painting of windows and doors

Automatic scanning and robotized painting of windows and doors

Inropa™ WindowPainter is a self-learning sys-tem which automatically programs the robot by use of 3D-Scanning.

Automatic programming
The operator just hang the parts in the line and send them through the paint line. No robot pro-gramming is necessary. Inropa™ WindowPainter Scans the parts and programs the robots on the fly. Therefore the system is optimal for pain-ting customer-specific products down to one-of-a-kind. It is possible to adjust the general settings of all painting parameters for specific paint and quality requirements.

3D-Scanning system
The Laser scanning system is working in true 3D. The position and orientation of each indivi-dual part is taken into account.

Also different dimensions of components within the same part will be handled so optimal surface quality and minimal consumption of paint material can be reached. It is possible to specify different colors and quality levels for the individual parts.
  High surface quality
The system will ensure a repeatable high sur-face quality which will contribute to a higher market value of the products.

Increase production capacity in paint line
The parts will be painted while moving on the conveyor line in a constant flow. The system will ensure a smooth flow in the paint line and it will be feasible gain synergies by efficient integra-tion with upstream and downstream production. Just-in-time production is strongly supported.
It is possible to add tools for optimizing conveyor speed and capacity in the line.

Reduce production costs
The WindowPainter will in most cases reduce costs for paint material and for re-painting of parts. Using robots will furthermore reduce ven-tilation and heating costs by re-cirkulating the air in the spray cabin.
Personnel for painting and moving parts will nor-mally be reduced significantly since the parts are painted by the robots and automatically transfer-red to the drying area.
It is possible to combine the system with autma-tic color change equipment which will enable fast color changes with minimal waste of paint material.

Well tested technology
The technology is tested in several industrial paint lines for windows and doors. Additionally the technology is used for several other industrial applications world wide.
